Took a lovely trip to Charnwood, close to the Charnwood Steam Train. Staff stood out as incredibly helpful. When it rained, one lady even lent me her umbrella. Breakfast impressed, especially the full English. Our room had a charming four-poster bed and a comfy sofa, ensuring a restful night. on arrival, the check-in was chaotic. the person managing both reservations and bar service seemed flustered. Dinner was good, but portions felt small and limited menu choices were available. Housekeeping showed some inconsistency. light bulbs were out, and the bathroom needed attention. Still, the place had a nice atmosphere with clean and tidy spaces. The friendly service balanced the slight issues, making me want to return for another stay.

Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed. Recently refurbished bathroom provided a pleasant and modern touch.
The TV didn’t work properly, with staff unable to resolve the issue. Internet access was spotty, impacting entertainment options until late at night, and noise from neighbors disrupted the peace while watching shows.
